🖼️ Bmw E90 Bad Battery Symptoms

low battery voltage is the cause of the no start, can be caused by the alternator not working. if the battery is quite low, a jump from a starter box or another car may not get it to turn over. think of it this wayan incompletely charged battery, when paralleled with a fully charged battery, becomes a load on the charged battery as the circuit tries to reach equilibrium. one thing to try is The JBE is the central data interface in the vehicle (gateway for the buses). The JBE is a component of the junction box. The junction box is an assembly consisting of the junction box electronics and front distribution box. The front distribution box and JBE can not be replaced individually. Try gently moving the battery cable a bit behind the glove box, and reseat the fuses by applying pressure. I had a similar electric gremlin where my car wouldn't start, or have any electronics turn on at all - battery was completely fine. Had my IBS cable replaced, but saw the problem happen one more time. [quote=KwlAznKid;10832519]hi guys, 2. i was probably playing for bout 2-3 minutes (car was off but key was in) i got a message that said LOW BATTERY and on the dash it showed a picture of the car battery where the temp is usually shown. i got scared and turned the car off and the on right away to test the battery.. it turned on perfectly and has been fine.. Does your E90 have IBS? Do you need to register/code a new battery? As I explained in the video, I was 100% sure I needed to register my new battery on my BMW battery is used to provide power to the one thing that uses the most power the starter motor, the alternator charges the battery so if you just got a new battery have it tested if it fell below 12V it’s being drained by the alternator, or it could be a bad battery you got have it tested at any Autozone. New battery in and now the car is idles rough between 1000 and 1400 RPM. There's no throttle response when I step on the gas pedal. I was told it was on limp mode but the mechanic had no idea how to fix it. It has 4 code p164c, P1417,P1632 and P0221. The Codes, AND the symptoms of "limp mode" indicate a problem with (1) the Accelerator Pedal scratch that, alternator was bad, just not bad enough to throw a code. Only charging at 12.7-12.8, should've been 13.5-14.0. Nearly killed the battery (was down around 12.0v when alt. was bad and measured from batt terminals,) maybe my experience chasing gremlins will help someone else. edit for clarity zkMAQj.
